Top:
Strapless top in ecru cotton crepe dotted with pink flowers. This is a light and slightly stretchy fabric that does not restrict movement. Ideal for hot summer days. The band of white smocks around the chest is hand embroidered and gives this top a chic look while the ribbon on the straps, whose pink color matches the flowers embroidered on the smocks, gives it a casual look. We like the contrast of the wispy cotton with the rougher cotton twill. Other details that you don’t see, but that are important: the back of the smocks are lined with a clean fabric for more comfort, and the English seams reinforce the solidity of the assemblies and perpetuate the piece for the little sisters. Shorts:
Spring green terry cloth shorts. We love the soft, fluffy, and comfortable blend of cotton and polyester, as much as all the children who have tried them. The polyester, added to the cotton in very small quantities, gives the fabric exceptional elasticity and prevents it from creasing. The elasticated waistband, the 2 Italian pockets to hide a dummy or a few treasures and the flounce at the bottom of the thighs are, together with the material, the assets of these shorts. Shorts that give energy, green of course!
